If DJs and electronic dance music aren’t your scene, there’s another festival happening this weekend that might be more your style! The fifth annual Winnipeg BBQ & Blues Festival, presented by 97.5 BIG FM, is happening Friday and Saturday (August 19 and 20) on Smith Street in front of the Burton Cummings Theatre.
The two-day festival will include the LUXE Barbeque Company Pit Master championship barbeque competition, a food and beverage garden, and many retail vendors.
There will be performances both days inside the Burt and outside on the street with Creedence Clearwater Revisited headlining Friday and The Voice finalist Laith Al-Saadi taking the stage on Saturday. For the full line-up and festival schedule visit: winnipegbbqandblues.ca
