Bark_2015_IMG_8466_Photo_Credit_Pawsh_Dog[1]Have you ever been to a Winnipeg Goldeyes ballgame at Shaw Park where the sun is shining, you’ve got a cold drink in your hand your, it’s the middle of the third, and you think to yourself this is perfect—the only thing that would make this MORE perfect is if my dog were here?

Well folks, you’re in luck because the Winnipeg Goldeyes Baseball Club and the Winnipeg Veterinary Care Group are teaming up to take you and your dog out to the ballgame on July 19 for Bark in the Park!

The event promises to include a variety of fun dog-themed entertainment, prizes and giveaways, pet-related vendors with tasty dog treats, and best of all: a Pooch Smooch Cam! Just adorable.

The doors open at 6PM (5:30PM for doggy registration) and the Winnipeg Goldeyes play the St. Paul Saints at 7PM. Tickets are $14, good for one 18+ person and one dog, and include a FREE Doggie Treat Bag (quantities are limited, so you’ll want to be first in line). You can also purchase additional human tickets for $10. A portion of the proceeds will be going towards helping out furry friends at the Winnipeg Humane Society. Buy your tickets online here: goldeyes.com/bark-in-the-park.

I’ll be giving away two sets of tickets for the event on my Facebook page, all you have to do is 1) post a photo of your pooch and 2) tell me why she/he loves would love a night out at the Goldeyes game. I will randomly pick two sets of winners (each set is good for two people and two dogs), may the cutest dogs win—I mean—it’ll be by random draw.. Best of luck!

And to all you cat lovers.. sorry no felines allowed.
