As we all know, I think there’s nowhere better in Winnipeg to work, live and play than downtown – and I think the “live” part has really started stepping it up in the last couple of years. Lately I keep seeing story after story about new residential developments – I love seeing the heritage buildings transform into beautiful lofts and empty spaces get filled in with creative new pieces of architecture!
So I’m excited to share a chance to check out more about what’s happening in downtown residential developments. Next Tuesday, June 26th from 4:30 – 7:30 it’s the 2nd annual Downtown Living Midsummer Mixer – if you’ve ever been curious about living downtown, this is the place to check out.
If you were there with me last year you probably remember it’s a great time – mingling in the sunshine, finding out all kinds of info about the developments, and if you’re me, mentally moving in to several of them. 🙂
This year it’s on the brand-new-just-opened-two-weeks-ago patio at Rudy’s Eat & Drink in the Hydro building, and you get to find out about spaces like….
Yes, there’s a spaceship coming (aka 62M). So is the Avenue on Portage, Residences on York, District Condominiums, and the old Penthouse building condos at 100 Princess – there’s condos AND rentals!
Oh – and did I mention there’s a draw for NHL tickets?
