It’s patio time

Even though spring still seems to be fighting its way to us, I can feel patio season just around the corner. For me, there are few greater pleasures in life than meeting with friends on a patio after work for a glass of crisp white wine and something deep fried. It really is the essence of living.

Downtown is home to dozens of fantastic patios that are just waiting for you. One of my favourites is, of course, the Tavern United one, which covers the entire roof of the building and looks out on to the city. The Forks is a great spot for patios too.  The Beachcomber offers a great one, and even a second one closer to the river, all summer with great views for people watching and taking in all the action.
