Spot Peggy Downtown Contest

RULES & REGULATIONS

• Contest for the Grand Prize $1,000 Shopping Spree closes on Friday, June 17, 2011 at 7pm. The draw for the $1,000 Grand Prize Downtown Shopping Spree will take place on Monday, June 20, 2011.
• Contest for the daily prizes valued at $250 or more closes each day at 7pm to be eligible to win the prize for that day. There are five daily prizes from June 13 to 17.
• Winners must have completed the online entry ballot in full, and sign a contest release form before being deemed the official winner. The winning entry will be randomly drawn by a Downtown BIZ staff member.
• The winner for each daily prize will be announced after 7:30pm each day of the contest, June 13 – 17, 2011.
• The winner for the Grand Prize will be contacted by June 24, 2011 by telephone. In order to be eligible, the winner must have correctly named a location that one of the Downtown Peggy cut-outs was at from June 13 to 17. Clues are released via
• Peggy’s blog. The Downtown Winnipeg BIZ respects your privacy. The information you provide will be used for purposes related to this contest and to keep you informed regarding downtown events and promotions. Your name will be removed
• from this list upon request.
• The Grand Prize Downtown Shopping Spree includes a mix of gift cards, vouchers and prizes worth over $1,000. Daily prizes in the form of gift cards and/or gift baskets are worth $250 or more.
• The winner must accept the prize as awarded. No substitutions.
• No cash value.
• Prize is not transferable. If declined or not claimed by winner within 30 days another name shall be drawn.
• There is no purchase necessary.
• The draw is open to Manitoba residents only.
• Odds of winning are dependant on numbers of entries.
• The winner will be required to sign an acceptance form and agree to publication of their name as the winner.
• The draw is void where prohibited by law. This draw is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws.
• In the event there is a discrepancy between the rules, the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ reserves all rights to final decisions on all matters.
• Any Person 18 years of age or over is eligible to win, except the employees and volunteers and immediate families of the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ, employees, advertising agency and consultants and other sponsors.
• Winner shall authorize the release of their name & photograph for advertising and publicity purposes relating to the contest.
• All entries become the property of the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ.
